Northeast Arizona

2011-12-11

tl;dr: I took some pictures and made some videos while driving across Northeast Arizona. They are boring.

Yesterday and today I was driving the high desert roads of Northeast Arizona.

I started off near Four Corners. I saw very quickly that I was going to have to pay money to take a picture of an abstract geographic reference, so I didn't and didn't.

Driving through the mountains and desert has coated my van in very earthy colors. By the time I arrived in Phoenix I'm pretty sure I had the dirtiest vehicle in the entire city.

Here's what it looks like to drive across the flat desert. Very boring. I added some music to help. It probably didn't.

The following video is somewhat interesting. I start off above 7000 feet in snow-covered pines and then drop all the way to the cactus-filled desert floor in about an hour. Unfortunately, I ended up with a break in the middle of the video. Also, it is blurry.

Even though you (should) find these videos uninteresting, I enjoy making them. And it's my website. I am working on improving the sharpness of the timelapses.
