Bandelier National Monument

tl;dr: Today I visited Bandelier National Monument.

One thing I'm learning about the Southwest: There are a lot of ruins.

I visited Bandelier National Monument. After hanging out with the other tourists around the ruins, I started out on a long loop hike. Unfortunately, I started too late in the day and had no good idea of how long that hike actually was. Also, after a couple of miles the snow-covered trail had very few tracks on it, and so got increasingly harder to walk on. Also, a recent fire pretty much destroyed that trail, so it was pretty hard to follow. Eventually I just had to turn around and backtrack.
