Fort Bragg

tl;dr: I spent an extra week in Fort Bragg, California.

The three people who read this blog have probably noticed a lack of updates. I am spending an entire extra week in Fort Bragg, California. Stupid job. Really, I could get away with endlessly not finishing projects, but the stress has been building up, so I decided to take the weekend and get caught up.

This isn't the worst place to spend two weeks. The weather is pleasant, if a bit cold.

I went to see a movie. I thought to myself, I had better arrive early, because this is a new and popular movie, and I want a good seat. I arrived twenty minutes early. The theater was empty. The guy selling tickers said, "yeah, this isn't like the big city."

For whatever reason, this town has a number of street people. Apparently they wander in this time of year thinking the coast will be warm. It is not. This would be a horrible place to be a street person. Of course, the locals are pretty rough-looking as well. The men have giant beards, and the women have long hair, and both look like they've spent entirely too much time in the sun being malnourished. There is a hippie vibe about the place.
