Crescent City

tl;dr: I spent an extra day in Crescent City.

I ended up spending an extra day in Crescent City. Because of my job, that's why. Look, pictures.

The motel I stopped at was nice enough, but it had really low chairs and a really high desk. It didn't work for me, so I went to the hardware store and purchased some plywood and made my own desk.

What's up with these ridiculously large packs that homeless people carry? They are hauling easily twice as much as myself. There are as many, if not more, homeless people here than farther south. Am I just callous? I think I need to be. Otherwise seeing a homeless kid with his super-sized pack playing fetch with his dog down at the beach would be just too sad.
