tl;dr: I'm leaving California. Where am I going to next?

The mounting stress of my travels had me up and packing early. Rather than carry my boxed bike to a bus station or calling a Taxi I decided I would try out Uber. The girl who picked me up was friendly and had no qualms about carrying my bicycle box in her car.

After getting dropped off at the Metrolink train station I went to pull my phone to check the time and there was no phone. Sigh. It turns out it is really hard to contact Uber without a phone. Eventually a helpful local let me use his phone to call my phone. The driver returned to the station and I gave her a big tip.

Why do high homeless people always want to shake your hand? I want to be polite, but I hate the thought of getting a disease.

The train pulled out of Lancaster. There were a bunch of tents along the railroad. Other bicycle tourists or maybe backpackers I guess.

I am so glad I didn't decide to peddle to LAX.

After the train I took a bus to LAX.

Once at LAX I had a lot of hours to kill, so I caught up on my blogging.

What is that smell? Oh, it's me. I probably should have spent some time doing laundry.

I'm just going to post this pointless blog entry now.

It is finally raining here.

It appears a fire came through this area along the tracks.

Man alive sitting in an airport for eight hours is boring.
