2012-06-10 tl;dr: Short day. Paddled into Demopolis where I will spend the week getting work done. It didn't rain as forecasted. In fact it hardly rained at all until I was about a mile from my destination in Demopolis.Today was a short day. I reached the Riverview Inn before noon. Nothing to report. I've noticed something over many trips: While traveling I get tired, but it's usually manageable. But when I finally stop for a few days, and my body realizes I'm stopping, I completely collapse and every muscle in my body goes sore. I also get very hungry. |
