Intracoastal Waterway

tl;dr: I'm off Mobile Bay and paddling my way along the Intracoastal Waterway.

I spied more dolphins, but the pelicans seem to be left behind at bay.

All of the stores at Lulu's Marina were still closed when I arrived, but there was a shower room that I took advantage of, and I filled up my water bottles.

There is a small string of islands near Orange Beach. I stopped there around 4 pm. Camping is actually allowed. I thought I would. After waiting around for two hours I decided I'd rather camp someplace where I probably wasn't supposed to be. So I paddled out of town, into Florida, and laid my sleeping back out in Preserve. I am not bothering with a tent as I do not anticipate mosquitoes. And I wanted to remain inconspicuous. But mostly because it's warm even here on the coast.

Just before stopping to camp for good, I climbed over the sand dunes and received my first real glimpse of the Gulf of Mexico.
